Early Intervention
Alabama
This program provides support for infants and toddlers from birth through three-years old who have disabilities that prevent the child from meeting early developmental milestones. Services include personalized instruction, various types of therapy, and family support and training.
Home Visitation for Early Learning and Family Support
Alabama
Goodwill’s HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) Program is a free early childhood education initiative that empowers parents of young children to prepare their child for success in school. PAT (Parents as Teachers) is a free early childhood home visitation program designed to promote healthy development and school readiness.
Autism Evaluation Clinic
Alabama and Florida
This clinic offers comprehensive assessment and diagnostic services for young children ages 2-6 suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The clinic plays a crucial role in the early identification, diagnosis, and intervention of young children with ASD.
Child Development Center
Alabama
Goodwill Gulf Coast provides the community with an inclusive child development center in partnership with Mobile County Public Schools. Children of all abilities, ages 2.5 to 5 years old, receive high-quality care, education, and developmental support with small child-staff ratios in a program designed to prepare children for kindergarten.
Kaleidoscope Adult Day Program
Alabama
Kaleidoscope is a weekday program for younger adults with disabilities who have transitioned out of high school and other adults who desire to remain active and engaged in structured daytime activities including arts and crafts, music therapy, recreational games, exercise classes, and life skills training.
Military Respite Program
Florida
This program recruits, trains, and monitors independently-contracted care providers to offer temporary relief and support to active Navy families in Florida who have a family member with disabilities, special needs, or other challenges that require ongoing support and assistance.
